On Friday, 8 May 2020, in the afternoon at 13:33, in Vilniaus district municipality, Riešės village, on Kalvų street, at the junction with Aušros street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a Kawasaki VN 700-A1. One person was injured — the 28-year-old driver of the Kawasaki (severely injured, treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a helmet). The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the BMW (2 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
