On Friday, 8 May 2020, in the evening at 22:30, in Šiauliai, on Saulės tak. near No. 6, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a BMW 530. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 27-year-old driver of the Volkswagen, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene.
