On Sunday, 17 May 2020, in the evening at 17:37, in Plungės district municipality, on the Šiauliai–Palanga main road (kilometre 107.83), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Caravelle and a Hyundai Tucson. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 44-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (24 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene.
