On Tuesday, 19 May 2020, in the evening at 18:46, in Vilnius, on Naugarduko street, at the junction with Gerosios Vilties street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Town & Country and a Toyota Prius. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 36-year-old driver of the Chrysler, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
