On Thursday, 21 May 2020, in the evening at 17:15, in Kaunas, on Girstupio street, at the junction with Tunelio street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Skoda. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Audi (28 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He was drunk (3.69‰ blood alcohol). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
