On Saturday, 23 May 2020, in the evening at 19:27, in Molėtų district municipality, on Inturkės street, at the junction with Vilniaus street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Volvo V70, an Audi A4 and a Mini. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Volvo (21 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (1.87‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
