On Sunday, 24 May 2020, in the evening at 19:59, in Radviliškio district municipality, on the Radviliškis–Pakruojis national road (kilometre 5.30), an Audi A6 Avant ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 48-year-old driver of the Audi (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.27‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 70 km/h.
