On Saturday, 30 May 2020, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Jonavos district municipality, on the Jonava–Žasliai–Kalniniai Mijaugonys national road (kilometre 8.18), a collision with a moped occurred. The collision involved a moped and a Renault. One person was injured — the 9-year-old driver of a moped (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 9-year-old driver of a moped (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
