On Tuesday, 2 June 2020, in the evening at 21:30, in Klaipėda, on Deimės street near No. 2, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Chrysler Grand Voyager and a Nissan. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Chrysler (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 40 km/h.
