On Monday, 8 June 2020, in the evening at 17:50, in Alytus, on Jurgiškių street, at a pedestrian crossing, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Mercedes-Benz and a Hyundai i 30. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Mercedes-Benz (17 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He evaded sobriety testing and fled the scene.
