On Wednesday, 17 June 2020, in the afternoon at 15:16, in Kaunas, on Varnių street, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 120D, a car and a VAN Hool. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the BMW (20 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He fled the scene. All drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
