On Wednesday, 17 June 2020, in the afternoon at around 14:00, in Vilnius, on Ąžuolyno street, at the junction with Viršuliškių street, a traffic accident occurred. The accident involved a Scania and a car. One person was injured — a 84-year-old passenger of the Scania (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of a car (15 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
