On Wednesday, 17 June 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Kaunas, on P. Lukšio street near No. 70, a falling cargo occurred. The accident involved a Scania and a Schmitz Cargobull. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 60-year-old driver of the Scania (30 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
