On Sunday, 21 June 2020, in the afternoon at 13:48, in Kėdainių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 131.13), a Saab 9-5 ran off the road. One person was injured — a 60-year-old passenger of the Saab (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Saab (26 years of driving experience), who fell asleep at the wheel. The driver was sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 130 km/h.
