On Tuesday, 23 June 2020, in the evening at 21:40, in Raseinių district municipality, Pikelių village, an Audi A4 Avant hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (3.78‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
