On Tuesday, 23 June 2020, in the evening at around 19:00, in Šiauliai, on Draugystės pr., at the junction with Vytauto street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Passat and a Nissan X-Trail. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 21-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. Both drivers were sober.
