On Monday, 29 June 2020, in the morning at around 10:00, in Tauragės district municipality, on Dariaus ir Girėno street near No. 63, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Auris and a Saab 9-5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 62-year-old driver of the Toyota (22 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. She fled the scene. The driver was sober.
