On Saturday, 4 July 2020, at night at 2:15, in Grigiškės, on Šviesos street near No. 3, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and a Ford Focus. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 41-year-old driver of the Toyota (23 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was dark, the road was lit, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
