On Sunday, 5 July 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Joniškio district municipality, Skaistgirio town, on Kaštonų street near No. 29, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4, a Peugeot 807 and a Volvo S80. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Audi (25 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.11‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene.
