On Monday, 6 July 2020, in the evening at 19:30, in Kaunas, on Raudonojo Kryžiaus street, at the junction with Kiškių street, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Scania R 124, a Krone SDR27 and an Audi A4 Avant. One person was injured — the 25-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Scania (27 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was raining, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
