On Friday, 19 June 2020, in the afternoon at around 12:00, in Klaipėda, on Žemaičių street, at the junction with Technikos street, a side collision with neither vehicle turning occurred. The collision involved a BMW and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 18-year-old driver of the BMW, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
