On Tuesday, 14 July 2020, in the evening at 18:37, in Utenos district municipality, Meldinių village, on the Vilnius–Utena main road (kilometre 84.05), a Scania R 480 ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 53-year-old driver of the Scania (36 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. The driver was sober.
