On Friday, 17 July 2020, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Šiauliai, on Lieporių street near No. 9, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Seat Ibiza and a Citroen C5. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the Seat, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
