On Saturday, 18 July 2020, in the afternoon at 12:15, in Klaipėda, on Liepų street near No. 81, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a BMW 645 and a Lexus IS 220. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of the BMW (24 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
