On Monday, 20 July 2020, in the afternoon at 15:36, in Grigiškės, on Smėlio street near No. 4, a Seat Altea hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 40-year-old driver of the Seat (22 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
