On Saturday, 1 August 2020, in the evening at 17:56, in Vilnius, on Žvejų street near No. 14, a Suzuki GSX-R 1000 hit a pedestrian at a pedestrian crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 26-year-old driver of the Suzuki (8 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
