On Monday, 3 August 2020, in the evening at 20:10, in Šiauliai, on Vytauto street near No. 113, a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a vehicle and a BMW. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 54-year-old driver of a vehicle, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
