On Saturday, 1 August 2020, in the morning at 10:30, in Kaunas, on K. Čerbulėno street near No. 30, a Saab 9-3 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 37-year-old driver of the Saab (19 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
