On Friday, 14 August 2020, in the morning at 10:15, in Kaunas, on A. Stulginskio street near No. 63, at a yard or parking-lot exit, a Fiat Ducato hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 100-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 23-year-old driver of the Fiat (2 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
