On Thursday, 13 August 2020, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Demokratų street near No. 50, a car hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 17-year-old driver of a car, who committed other traffic rule violations. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
