On Sunday, 16 August 2020, in the afternoon at 11:35, in Kaunas, on Sukilėlių pr. near No. 96, a BMW 520 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 33-year-old driver of the BMW (less than a year of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. He was drunk (2.81‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
