On Thursday, 20 August 2020, in the afternoon at 13:30, in Klaipėdos city municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (d. pusė) main road (kilometre 310), a collision while moving in the same direction occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai Trajet and a Volvo V60. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 58-year-old driver of the Hyundai (29 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
