On Saturday, 22 August 2020, in the afternoon at 11:10, in Klaipėda, on Pušyno street, at the junction with Sportininkų street, an Alfa Romeo 156 hit an obstacle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 47-year-old driver of the Alfa Romeo (13 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He refused a sobriety test and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
