On Monday, 24 August 2020, in the morning at around 10:00, in Kaunas, on Lazdijų street near No. 62, an Audi A6 hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 83-year-old pedestrian (hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 57-year-old driver of the Audi (31 years of driving experience), who failed to fulfil pedestrian duties. The driver was sober.
