On Friday, 28 August 2020, in the afternoon at 14:30, in Kaunas, on Danų street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Saab 9-3 and a Volkswagen Golf. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 34-year-old driver of the Saab (13 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. She fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
