On Saturday, 29 August 2020, in the evening at 19:13, in Vilnius, on Belmonto street near No. 17, a Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 56-year-old driver of the Toyota (28 years of driving experience), who committed other traffic rule violations. He fled the scene. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 10 km/h.
