On Sunday, 30 August 2020, in the afternoon at 15:40, in Elektrėnų municipality, on the Vievininkai–Rusakalnis–Daugirdiškės II regional road (kilometre 2.15), a BMW 318i rolled over. Two people were injured — a 38-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt) and a 40-year-old passenger of the BMW (treated as an outpatient, was not wearing a seatbelt). The accident was caused by the 31-year-old driver of the BMW, who committed other traffic rule violations. She was drunk (2.38‰ blood alcohol), had no driving licence and fled the scene. A 30-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (2.65‰). A 38-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (3.11‰). A 40-year-old passenger of the BMW was drunk (3.41‰). According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 90 km/h.
