On Wednesday, 2 September 2020, in the afternoon at 15:28, in Raseinių district municipality, on the Vilnius–Kaunas–Klaipėda (k. pusė) main road (kilometre 202.10), a Citroen Xsara Picasso ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Citroen (4 years of driving experience), who failed to choose a safe speed. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet.
