On Thursday, 3 September 2020, in the afternoon at 13:52, in Mažeikių district municipality, on the Kuršėnai–Mažeikiai national road (kilometre 46.60), a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a Bodex KIS 3W-A registered in Latvia, a Hyundai, a Scania R 480 registered in Latvia, a Toyota Avensis and a Mercedes-Benz E 200 CDI.
