On Monday, 7 September 2020, in the evening at around 17:00, in Raseinių district municipality, on Dubysos street near No. 16, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Volkswagen Golf and a Volvo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 29-year-old driver of the Volkswagen (11 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.83‰ blood alcohol) and fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was wet. The speed limit on this section is 50 km/h.
