On Thursday, 17 September 2020, in the afternoon at 12:21, in Panevėžio district municipality, on the Panevėžys–Aristava–Sitkūnai main road (kilometre 26), a Krone SD registered in Latvia ran off the road. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by an unidentified person, who failed to give way when changing direction. He fled the scene. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
