On Wednesday, 9 September 2020, in the afternoon at around 13:00, in Šiauliai, on Ežero street near No. 4, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Ford Fiesta and an Opel Vectra. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 83-year-old driver of the Ford (42 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober.
