On Monday, 21 September 2020, in the evening at 18:15, in Klaipėdos district municipality, Veiviržėnų town, on Mokyklos street near No. 1, a head-on collision occurred. The collision involved a motorcycle and a bicycle. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of a motorcycle, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was twilight, the weather was clear, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 5 km/h.
