Toyota Corolla driver hits a parked BMW and flees on Vilniaus g., Šiauliai
On Monday, 21 September 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Šiauliai, on Vilniaus street near No. 217, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Corolla and a BMW 118. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 52-year-old driver of the Toyota (34 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident the weather was clear, the road surface was dry.
