On Monday, 28 September 2020, in the afternoon at around 16:00, in Kaunas, on Veiverių street near No. 148, a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved a Toyota Prius and an Opel Vectra Station Wagon. One person was injured — the 59-year-old driver of the Opel (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Toyota (24 years of driving experience), who failed to give way when changing direction. Both drivers were sober.
