On Friday, 16 October 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Vilnius, on Kalvarijų street near No. 127, a Toyota Prius hit a pedestrian away from any crossing. One person was injured — a 68-year-old pedestrian (treated as an outpatient). The accident was caused by the 50-year-old driver of the Toyota (15 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. The driver was sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
