On Saturday, 17 October 2020, in the evening at 18:20, in Klaipėda, on Taikos pr. near No. 77, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Audi 80 and a Dacia. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 22-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to keep a safe distance. He had no driving licence and fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA). At the time of the accident it was overcast, the road surface was dry. The speed limit on this section is 20 km/h.
