On Wednesday, 21 October 2020, in the evening at around 20:00, in Klaipėda, on Bijūnų street near No. 7, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved a Hyundai and an Audi A3. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 45-year-old driver of the Hyundai (27 years of driving experience), who failed to keep a safe distance. He fled the scene. Both drivers were sober. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
