On Friday, 23 October 2020, in the afternoon at 12:59, in Šilutės district municipality, Traksėdžių village, on Šilojų street near No. 2B, a collision with a stationary vehicle occurred. The collision involved an Opel Movano and a Volkswagen Polo. No one was hurt in the accident. The accident was caused by the 30-year-old driver of the Opel, who failed to keep a safe distance. He was drunk (2.27‰ blood alcohol) and had no driving licence. According to the register, the at-fault driver's vehicle had no compulsory civil-liability insurance (TPVCA).
