On Thursday, 29 October 2020, in the afternoon at 13:32, in Šakių district municipality, Griškabūdžio town, on the Pilviškiai–Šakiai–Jurbarkas national road (kilometre 18.12), a collision while turning left (U-turning) occurred. The collision involved an Audi A4, a MAN TGS and a Koegel N 12. Three people were injured — the 15-year-old driver of the Audi (hospitalized), a 28-year-old passenger of the Audi (hospitalized) and a 41-year-old passenger of the Audi (severely injured, hospitalized). The accident was caused by the 15-year-old driver of the Audi, who failed to give way when crossing an intersection. He had no driving licence. Both drivers were sober.
